You can confirm it by doing the following. The manual mentions XP or Vista as the latest Windows, and even the web-site isn't updated. What was happening was I'd see all the same networks as on my laptop, only one of which is mine. Using the site is easy and fun. I assume you can detect your own wireless network but putting in the password does nothing, correct? Actually for a wireless driver, the files required are probably not more that 1mb total.

If Puppy works, the only suggestion I have is to do a System Restore to a date before you did the changes and start again if that is at all possible.
